So last year I dug up the garden and tossed a bunch of tulip bulbs into the garbage. Except I didn’t have a garbage at the time, so I dropped them into a handy pot, put it in the garage and then forgot to actually throw it out.
So much to my surprise, I came across the pot in March, and the tulip bulbs are sprouting. Not one or two – but all of them in the top half of the pot.
So I decided to toss them in the ground, and then they went and bloomed beautifully!
So if you forget to plant your tulips in the fall – don’t worry about it! Just toss them in the garage and stick ’em in the ground come springtime.
